Dragonflies and Damselflies
The dragonfly and its nearest relative, the damselfly, are among the largest of the insects that inhabit the air. They are also among the fastes. Using their four wings, they fly backward and upside down, twisting and turning, appearing to stop in mid-air, then darting forward again.
